The Franklin County Public Works Department is comprised of Accounting and Administrative Services, Road Maintenance and Operation Division, Engineering and Traffic Services Division, Geographical Information Systems Division, Solid Waste Division, and Motor Vehicle and Equipment Division. All divisions are committed to our responsibility to provide safe, economical, and environmentally sound public road facilities and services.

NEWS RELEASE

ROAD CONSTRUCTION

FRANKLIN COUNTY

Franklin County Public Works is informing the public of a road construction project that extends Road 100 (Broadmoor Blvd.) out into Franklin County. The new road will extend, from the existing dead end, north to Easy Street and west to Dent Road. Various other improvements will be completed on Dent Road and Easy Street. Traffic on Dent Road and Easy Street will be reduced to one lane during the week between 6 AM to 6 PM. The traveling public can expect delays and rough road conditions. Franklin County suggests the public use alternate routes. The road construction will begin February 22, 2012 and extend to August 2012.
