EAST FOSTER WELLS ROAD EXTENSION - PHASE 2
APPLICATION TO THE TIGER II DISCRETIONARY GRANTS PROGRAM
This TIGER II Grant application is for the construction of Phase 2 of the East Foster Wells Road Extension
project, completing the missing transportation link between US 395 and Pasco-Kahlotus Road. Specifically
this project will complete 2.5 miles of two-lane county road from Piekarski Road to Pasco-Kahlotus Road,
providing an all-weather, farm-to-market route, and a direct east-west corridor through southeast Franklin
County. The NEPA environmental process is complete, right-of-way has been acquired, and the contract
documents are ready for this $2.93 million project to be advertised for construction as soon as the funds are
available.
